Samurai Calibur Overview

Samurai Calibur is a simple four-sided balance blade whose real trick comes from its Merge bit, which plays aggressive or steady depending on how you launch it. Players run it for that two-in-one flexibility.

Strengths

  • + Merge bit gives two playstyles from one setup
  • + Square shape is steady and predictable
  • + Flexible balance role

Weaknesses

  • The blade itself is fairly plain
  • Most of its identity comes from the bit, not the blade
  • No standout attack or stamina edge

Samurai Calibur's personality is in the launch: with its Merge bit on 6-70M, a level launch keeps it steady and stamina-focused, while a tilted or angled launch makes the rubber grip and move aggressively. Use the steady mode to outlast, or the aggressive mode to disrupt, depending on the matchup. As a plain square blade, treat it as a solid, adaptable role-filler. In a 3v3 deck it is a flexible balance slot rather than a specialist.
